Perfect World announced that the next expansion for their MMO Perfect World International is coming to players worldwide on December 18. The expansion is titled New Horizons and features a host of new additions and improvements.

Perfect World: New Horizons will introduce a new feature called the Reawakening System, that allows players to take their high level characters back to level one to experience the revamped starter content and to gain unique upgrades to their stats.

The War Avatar system allows the collection of War Avatar cards from various instances in the game, cards than can be used to boost certain stats, in an attempt to make visiting previously explored zones a more attractive perspective, as RPGSlayer reports.

The update also brings new skills, new areas to explore (both starting and high level) and a story progression system that changes the state of the world through certain global objectives the community will be engaged in achieving.

New Horizons will also feature an improved user interface with an assistant providing information such as item recipes and skill descriptions.
