14 DAY TRIAL // Penny Arcade fans can now rejoice, as their favorite webcomic heroes will return with a brand new game, in the form of On The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3, which has just been confirmed for release this summer across a variety of platforms.
While it looked like Penny Arcade’s On The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness series would end with the second iteration, it seems that a third and fourth installments are coming, and the webcomic series has just confirmed that the next game is coming this summer, made in partnership with indie studio Zeboyd Games.
The third title will feature, as you can see in the screenshots below, a distinct retro RPG style, complete with a Final Fantasy style menu and character sprites.
The new game picks up from where the previous left off - famous detective Tycho must once again partner with Gabe and face off against unknown evils.
The game will be coming out in summer across platforms like PC, Mac, Xbox 360, iOS and Android.
The fourth installment is already in the planning stages and will arrive sometime in 2013.
