14 DAY TRIAL // A brand new report claims that Peggle 2 will be released for the Xbox One on December 9, right before the winter holidays.
Peggle 2 is one of the most anticipated sequels from PopCap Games, and publisher Electronic Arts raised quite a few eyebrows when it confirmed that the game would be at least a timed exclusive for the Xbox One.
Now, thanks to a preview from GamesBeat, Peggle 2 has received an actual release date of December 9, according to the website.
Peggle 2 will appear at that time for the Xbox One and introduce its new twist on the classic Peggle formula.
Around 120 levels will be included in the game and it will cost just $11.99 (around €8.82) when it comes out for Microsoft's next-gen console.
According to recent rumors and listings, the game will also debut at a later time for the PS4 and Xbox 360.
