Patrick Bach, the leader of the DICE team working on Battlefield 4, says that the fan community for the game is large and vocal and would react if the company ever stopped working on new titles in the first-person shooter series.

He tells the Official Xbox Magazine that, “People sometimes ask why we ‘only make Battlefield games’. And it's like, firstly we don't only make Battlefield games, and secondly, if we stopped making them people would hate me!”

He says the entire team loves the core concepts behind the Battlefield franchise and wants to make sure that all future experiences linked to it offer quality to the fans.

At least three more DLC packs for the current version of the title are set to be launched and DICE will also deliver balance updates for all the multiplayer modes.
