Linda Kiby, a producer working on the new Runemaster at Paradox Interactive, says that her team is designing an experience that will evolve in different ways based on the choices that players will initially make.

She is quoted by Eurogamer as saying that, “If you make a greedy choice at the end of a quest your character's going to become greedy too. From then on you'll get more greedy options, more greedy storylines, a greedy reputation.”

Runemaster is set to use role-playing game and tactical battle mechanics and will be based on the classic Norse mythology.

The developer has also suggested that a multiplayer campaign is currently being considered, but that Paradox is at the moment focusing on making sure that the single player is the best it can be.

Runemaster will be replayable, but each playthrough in the title can last up to 100 hours based on the choices that a gamer makes.
