ShareFactory, the video edition suite launched with the 1.7 firmware update of the PlayStation 4 home entertainment system from Sony, came bundled with a bunch of issues, which the developers intend to solve shortly, in the first update.

As such, the first update to the app will come not with expanded features, but with fixes and tweaks to make ShareFactory more accessible and stable.

Two examples of the issues the app came with are the commentary recording issues, making voices sound extremely metallic in many cases, as well as the sync issues between the video and audio tracks during rendering.

Stuart Platt, senior producer of ShareFactory, has shared in a post on Twitter that the team is hard at work and that PlayStation 4 owners all across the globe will receive more details soon.

"I am happy to let all #SHAREfactory players know that we are hard at work on our first update. Details coming soon."

People have expressed their excitement regarding the app, and, of course, fans have swarmed with requests and desires on Twitter, from being able to record party chat audio to being able to watch other people's vids directly from the app or uploading clips to users' PSN accounts.

Platt has mentioned that the team will be focusing on addressing known issues, for now.
