A brand new report has appeared online about the PlayStation 4, claiming that Sony will debut a boost in performance for the console's hardware, not to mention different improvements in terms of games from its internal studio, Naughty Dog.

The PS4 came out last November and immediately proved that its hardware was more powerful and easier to use than the Xbox One from Microsoft. Quite a lot of multi-platform games have been shown to run at either a higher resolution on PS4 or at a higher framerate, and the trend seems to continue in the near future.

However, Sony is apparently pushing the console's hardware further and, according to a series of tweets from insiders Thuway and Tidux, via GamePur, it seems that the company will confirm at E3 2014 a performance boost for the PS4.

More specifically, a PS4 performance improvement is being rumored right now and will make the games run even better on the platform. It will also make the differences between the PS4 and Xbox One editions of multi-platform titles even bigger, depending on how willing developers are to push the Sony console.

Bear in mind that these are just rumors, but you can expect some great news from Sony at E3 2014 in June.
