The PlayStation 4 Camera, which is sold separately from the actual console, can detect quite a few different voice commands thanks to its built-in microphone array but, as opposed to the Xbox One's Kinect, it doesn't support that many orders from owners.
The PS4 is set to deliver a bold new experience and, for those who want to take things further, a special PS4 Camera is sold separately.
The small peripheral can be used to detect a player's face and automatically log him into his PSN account, but also to listen to certain voice commands.
According to Engadget, the camera won't listen to a "turn on" command while it's on standby, but it can be used to turn off the PS4 or start games from the main menu.
Unfortunately, third-party applications, including entertainment ones like Netflix, won't support voice commands via the PS4 camera just yet, although Sony hopes its partners will implement the feature in the future.
