The PS3 game goes free later today for all Plus members

Sony has confirmed that PlayStation Plus users in North America will receive later today, December 10, after the usual PS Store update, their free copies of Borderlands 2 as well as quite a few discounts for all sorts of major games.

The PlayStation Plus program has brought many great advantages to paying subscribers, and Sony doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

Later today, after the PS Store update, all Plus users in North America will be able to download and play for free Borderlands 2.

They'll also be able to score new deals during the winter holiday sale, so check out the new discounted titles below, via PS blog.
