The development team working on the Ouya gaming console announces that it is currently getting ready to introduce a number of upgrades to the device, which will be tested in the coming weeks via a limited beta stage.

The Ogopogo update is designed to introduce USB powered storage capabilities and only a limited number of users will be able to try out the feature.

Those who are interested can find out more on the official site of Ouya.

The update is also designed to fix a number of issues with the HDMI link and will add more video content to various game pages.

Ouya is an Android-based device that allows gamers to get access to a wide array of free game experience and gives them the freedom to modify the core software that powers it.

The developers are saying that the platform has seen strong initial sales and are working to expand its capabilities.
