Robot Entertainment has confirmed that its upcoming Orcs Must Die 2 game will be released on July 30 for the PC platform.

Orcs Must Die delighted quite a lot of people last year and we even crowned it the second most impressive downloadable game of 2011.

Now, after confirming that a sequel would be released soon, developer Robot Entertainment has revealed that Orcs Must Die 2 is going to be launched on July 30, for the PC.

Quite a few features are included in this sequel, chief among which being a cooperative mode that’s fully supported by the story campaign, allowing the War Mage protagonist to be helped out by a Sorceress from the original title.

Plenty of new things are also baked into Orcs Must Die 2, including new enemies, new defenses, and a revamped upgrade system that should make beefing up your weapons much easier.

Don’t forget that if you own the first Orcs Must Die on the PC, you’ll also unlock special content in the sequel this July.
