Unless you’re an old gamer, you probably never heard about Deck13’s Venetica. However, you surely heard about Lords of the Fallen, their latest game that had its fair share of praises and mixed reviews.

Anyway, Deck13 has just announced that it will be bringing Venetica, a fantasy RPG that was released back in 2009 on PC and Xbox 360, and one year later on PlayStation 3.

You’ll be playing as Scarlett, Venetica’s main heroine who’s living in the16th century on the Southern coast of Italy. The story looks interesting enough, as you will have to fight a necromancer who became immortal after being allowed to control Death by a mysterious group known as Corpus.

The game is built in OGRE engine, and as developers claim, it looks great in full HD. Don’t expect any visual improvements though or any gameplay elements to be added.

However, Deck13 confirmed they would be adding Steam Trading cards to the game soon after Venetica goes live on Steam. Given that I did not have the chance to meet this Scarlett, I shall pick this one up and see how she’ll fair on my rig.

In case it’s worthy enough, I’ll promise a quick look (with video), so that anyone interested can get a glimpse at what Venetica, a 6-year-old game, has to offer.
