Sony has begun teasing a big announcement for next week in regards to The Last of Us Remastered for the PlayStation 4 platform, as it seems that the company might finally show off some official screenshots and maybe even a gameplay video of the new title in action.

The Last of Us appeared for the PS3 last year and delivered a stunning survival experience that impressed tens of millions of console owners.

Since then, developer Naughty Dog has worked hard on new DLC packs for the single-player and multiplayer campaigns, while porting the experience onto the PS4 platform, in the form of The Last of Us Remastered.

The game received some leaked screenshots earlier this week, but now Sony has begun teasing an announcement about the new PS4 title for next week through its official Australian Facebook page.

Afterwards, Naughty Dog Games Designer Quentin Cobb revealed on Twitter that special screenshots with The Last of Us Remastered are going to appear soon.

It's unclear if a gameplay video will also accompany the reveal but, considering the game is going to launch on the PS4 at the end of the month, it's quite possible that Sony will release a trailer if not next week, then in the following ones.
