Square Enix announced that they are planning to invite more players into the closed alpha test for Nosgoth, their upcoming PvP-centric title, sometime later this month.

Nosgoth will be a player-versus-player combat-focused multiplayer title based on the Legacy of Kain action-adventure games developed over a decade ago by Silicon Knights and Crystal Dynamics.

Square Enix announced the game in June 2013, and it will be the first Legacy of Kain-related title since 2003. The game is being developed by Psyonix, a California-based studio with over ten years of gaming industry experience focused on multiplayer titles.

This month will see more invites being sent out via email, Square Enix stating that they've “had to limit the number of players during closed alpha to be able to test the game's network infrastructure, but this will change soon once we get into closed beta,” as quoted by Polygon.

Nosgoth is currently in its closed alpha phase, and as developers managed to implement all the feedback from this testing phase, it will move closer to a closed beta phase, when even more players will be invited to take part in the action, once more features will be implemented.
