Video game publisher Nordeus announces that it will be staging a fourth edition of its popular Hackaton event in Belgrade on December 13 of this year, allowing teams of game developers to try and create the best possible title in just 24 hours, using a theme that will only be revealed on the day of the event.

Teams from a number of countries, including Great Britain, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatian, Serbia, Slovenia, Romania, and more are set to take part and they will be evaluated based on their creativity, their development style, and the quality of the game they manage to create.

All those interested in the Nordeus Hackaton should register on the official site of the company until November 26, and all those who do not have a team already prepared will be automatically assigned based on their skills.

All expenses are covered by the publisher, and those who take part will be able to get a glimpse of the complexity involved in creating top level titles like Be a Football Manager and Top Eleven.

A range of prizes are offered for the best creations, including current-gen consoles, mobile phones, tablets, and other hardware equipment.

Milan Đukic, the public relations manager at Nordeus, states, “The contest is an excellent opportunity for those who want to work on the gaming industry but are not familiar with the work environment. It also allows experienced developers to test their skills in a dynamic environment.”
