The Titanfall beta stage will not enter an open status on the PC, according to developer Respawn, which has opted to allow most PC users who registered to test the game until yesterday, February 16, to play it via Origin.

The Titanfall test phase was initially regulated via codes that had to be entered by those who wanted to test out the game either on PC or Xbox One.

On Microsoft's console, developer Respawn took the decision to turn the closed test into an open one, meaning any Xbox One owner was able to download and play the beta.

On PC, such a thing won't happen, according to the studio's Twitter.

Instead, all PC owners who registered their interest in the beta until yesterday, February 16, will see the Titanfall beta build appear in their My Games libraries on the Origin service soon and they'll be able to play until February 19, when the beta ends.
