Hello Games' procedurally generated universe exploration game No Man's Sky has just gotten a spiffy new gameplay trailer, showing more colorful planets and space flight.

The gameplay trailer debuted at The Game Awards, showing a bit of the galaxy that players will collectively explore during their attempt to reach its center.

The video depicts a lush, colorful world at dusk, seeping atmosphere, and then proceeds to highlight a desert planet and its many hidden mysteries, including ancient technology and a portal to the long-forgotten past.

The game, albeit apparently light on actual gameplay, is a very satisfying visual journey, with creativity abounding, judging from the latest reveals.

No Man's Sky is created entirely by procedural means, therefore, the probability of two players finding the same environment on two different planets is as insignificant as the probability of life existing in the universe in the form we know it.

The possibilities are close to infinite in the upcoming title, which will be released on the PlayStation 4 sometime in 2015. Developer Hello Games stated that it was not giving up on the PC edition of the game, but that it would have to take a back seat, due to the small size of the team.
