14 DAY TRIAL // NES Remix takes a couple of old Nintendo Entertainment System classic games and packs them for the Wii U.
The Wii U versions are not verbatim copies of the originals, but instead feature “quick levels” from them with some new kinks here and there, as reported by Eurogamer.
For instance, Link will be spotted in the original Donkey Kong and Excitebike has a new level where the screen is black, save for the way ahead, illuminated by a headlight. Mario also gets a reversed level.
There are 16 games in total that have been remixed and bunched together for the new Wii U release, all of them supported by online leaderboards and the Miiverse.
NES Remix is available for download on the eShop for £9 / $15 / €11.
