Nintendo announced that its most recent sales were led by the 3DS portable, selling nearly 770K units during last month alone, achieving a grand total of 10.5 million units sold during its lifetime.

Two recent hot 3DS titles helped the portable system's momentum significantly, Pokemon X and Y. The twin games' total sales figure reached 2.35 million units, selling 225K combined digital and physical copies in November alone.

The recent Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds was also a best-seller, reaching 280K units across digital and physical sales, with the special edition Black Friday Zelda-themed 3DS XL adding another 125K on top of that.

Other Nintendo 3DS games have also been reported to have considerable sales percentage increases over October's numbers, according to GamesIndustry.

The Nintendo Wii U, on the other hand, is found to be lacking the force of the portable system. Its numbers, although at a considerable sales percentage increase, only amounted to about 220K units sold during the month of November.
