In a recent video, Team Ninja leader Yosuke Hayashi and Comcept CEO Keiji Inafune discuss the development process for their Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z title.

The Team Ninja leader has announced that they are also thinking about the next proper Ninja Gaiden game, thus officially confirming that the studio is at work, as reported by CVG.

Ninja Gaiden 3 was a disappointment to many fans, not delivering the game they wanted, so it isn't that much of a surprise that Tecmo Koei is already looking into the next game.

Most likely, not much will be revealed about the production until E3 2014 or even later, but nonetheless it's good news that the developers are already discussing the next game.

As for Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, Hayashi stated that "if the games were food, the Ninja Gaiden series would be a rich meaty entree and Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z would be desert. Every course of the meal would be in the same Ninja Gaiden world, but gamers will experience different kinds of play."
