Ubisoft confirms through a brand new teaser trailer that it's going to reveal the next game in the Assassin's Creed series on May 12, at 5pm BST.

The Assassin's Creed series has been around for many years now, and ever since Assassin's Creed 2 came out, Ubisoft has kept on launching yearly installments to delight fans and, of course, maximize profits.

After having launched not one but two different full-fledged games last fall, in the form of Assassin's Creed Unity on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and Rogue for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, the studio is already preparing to debut the next game in the series.

After a leak last year confirming that the title is called Assassin's Creed Victory and that it focuses on Victorian-era London, Ubisoft declined to comment, so things are still unclear.

Now, Ubisoft has just released a fresh teaser trailer confirming that the next Assassin's Creed is going to be revealed to the world on May 12 at 5pm BST.

A mysterious image showcasing an assassin hidden blade and a cane is depicted, as well as the sentence "Oppression has to end."

Expect to see the full-fledged reveal next week, and quite possibly a few leaked details in the following days.
