The company wants gamers to see the quality that the console can offer

The team at Microsoft in charge of the Xbox One is launching a new commercial for the home console that's designed to show how capable the platform is of delivering immersive experiences to those who buy it.

The voice-over suggests that the kind of gameplay offered by the new Microsoft device cannot be replicated by any rival.

It's interesting to see the company focusing on gaming so much, given the fact that when the Xbox One was first announced, it declared the platform to be equally focused on entertainment experiences like TV shows and live sports.

Before the end of 2013, the PlayStation 4 from Sony was leading in the sales battle of the next generation of consoles.

Microsoft says that it is satisfied with its own sales and that the Xbox One will emerge victorious in the long term because of the extra quality it can deliver.
