14 DAY TRIAL // United Front released a brand new trailer for Triad Wars, the PC exclusive follow-up to 2012's hit action adventure title Sleeping Dogs.
The new video, titled Own the Underworld, showcases the brutal action in the game and casts a revealing glance on why the streets are such a dangerous place, by highlighting some of the things the up-and-coming criminals are up to, including but not limited to a lot of roundhouse kicking right in the face.
Triad Wars is United Front's massively multiplayer online follow-up to the Hong-Kong-based adventure in Sleeping Dogs, only this time around, instead of taking on the role of an undercover cop, you'll be tasked with dominating the criminal underworld and rising through its ranks.
The open world game combines the typical action of a Grand Theft Auto title with a unique side-dish of martial arts, enticing players to extort, hack, threaten and murder their way up the criminal ladder.
Triad Wars is scheduled for launch sometime later this year. The game will be free to play, but both developer United Front and publisher Square Enix assured everyone that it would not be pay to win.
The game is currently undergoing a closed beta testing phase, and you can opt in on the Triad Wars website for a chance to taste the action.
