14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Eidos Montreal working on the new Thief video game is delivering a new trailer, which focuses on another character that will play a big role in the single-player experience, the Queen of the Beggars.
The team explains that, “Nobody knows how old the Queen of the Beggars actually is; rumour has it she's as old as The City itself. Some say that although she is blind, she sees through the eyes of rats that riddle the streets.”
The City is the backdrop for all of Garrett’s adventures and the developers want to show players the kinds of experiences that they will encounter as they explore it secrets.
The new Thief is designed to offer the same stealth-based experience as its predecessors while updating some mechanics to make them more palatable to modern players.
The title will be out on the PC, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and current-gen consoles in February 2014.
