14 DAY TRIAL // The next Super Smash Bros. game might appear for the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS on May 16, 2014, according to a listing from a large North American retailer.
A new Super Smash Bros. has been eagerly awaited by the franchise's millions of fans for quite some time and Nintendo is finally sharing some details about the next installment, which is set to debut next year for the 3DS and Wii U.
According to retailer Newegg, the new game, listed under the Super Smash Bros. 4 title, will be released on May 16, 2014, at least for the 3DS.
The Wii U version of the game is listed with a regular December 31, 2014 placeholder date, which hints that the May 16 one for the 3DS edition could be true.
As of yet, Nintendo hasn't commented on the listing.
