The studios behind the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 first person shooter, Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games, have presented a special new video that shows off the new weapons that will be included in the game, as well as the progression system that's going to allow players to increase the effectiveness of their favorites.

Modern Warfare 3 is facing some stiff competition as this week saw the release of Battlefield 3, so, besides the special Double XP weekend that's now happening for all recent Call of Duty games, it's also seeing quite a few new videos appear.

The latest shows off the new weapons from the upcoming shooter, as well as the new progression system, that allows players to unlock special bonuses for their favorite weapons, from reduced kickback to holding your breath to stabilize your targeting.

You can check out more than 3 minutes of gameplay above, which focuses on the weapons in Modern Warfare 3 that should keep you satisfied until the game is released on November 8, on PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.
