Destiny developer Bungie confirms that it's going to debut a brand-new edition of its Iron Banner competitive multiplayer event on Tuesday, April 28. Those who enter the contest can win some exclusive helmets for their characters.

Destiny is currently entertaining quite a lot of players all around the world with its online first-person shooter actions, and in order to keep fans even more addicted to the experience, Bungie organizes many dynamic events all the time.

Next week, Bungie confirms on its blog that the Iron Banner event is back, tasking fans with competing in multiplayer PvP battles for glory and fresh rewards.

According to the website, three special helmets will be available for talented players, besides bragging rights.

However, instead of finding the Lord Saladin vendor on the Tower zone, players will have to access the new Iron Banner from the main Director interface. Apparently, a navigation error is present in the game right now, so players will have to use this workaround until the next big patch for Destiny rolls around next month, in the form of update 1.2.0.

Next month also marks the debut of the second big expansion for Destiny, as Houses of Wolves is going to launch on May 19 worldwide. Until then, check out the new helmets below.
