Right after deploying F1 2011 for the Nintendo 3DS last week, Codemasters has followed up and revealed some new screenshots for the game’s upcoming PlayStation Vita version, which is set to arrive in February, alongside the handheld console in Europe and North America.
F1 2011 impressed plenty of racing game fans earlier this year when it appeared for the PC, as well as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, and last week for the Nintendo 3DS. Now, the UK-based studio is working on the game’s Vita edition, which will be out in February.
In order to hype things up, Codemasters has posted a batch of new screenshots but, at least from what we can see, things aren’t looking very good. While the shots are enlarged from the regular 480p (640x480) resolution of the PlayStation Vita, the car models look choppy and there’s not a trace of the trademark polish Codemasters usually puts on its games.
Hopefully, the studio will be able to enhance things before February and deliver a high quality racing game for the Vita. Until then, check out the screenshots below.
