Video games developer 505 Games announced that fans of the Cooking Mama franchise can now pick up the fourth game in the series on the Nintendo 3DS handheld while the Outdoor Adventures spin-off is available on the older DS series.

Cooking Mama 4 has more than 200 food oriented mini-games and uses the 3D to make the whole experience more lively.

The game also uses the new wireless function of the platform to deliver 4 player cooperative play.

Outdoor Adventures offers just over 100 mini-games for gamers who lack the new 3DS or stuck to the older handhelds.

Ralph-Pitt Stanley, who is the general manager at 505 Games, stated, “The Cooking Mama games are the jewel in the crown of our kids and family games line-up.”

He added, “It’s incredibly exciting to be able to offer not one but two fresh takes on the Cooking Mama gameplay experience this holiday season, ensuring Mama fans get great choice and fun gameplay whatever their handheld of choice.”
