Someone at Activision is actually watching the Snapchat account that was added to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 to deliver some fairly weird images that seem to point to a reveal for the next game in the series coming soon.

There are no details attached to the screenshots that fans have been sharing on Reddit, but the general mood is that the company is planning deliver some more teaser content.

The three images do not offer any sort of info on the story or the mechanics of the next title.

The fan community is pretty certain that the new Call of Duty title will be called Black Ops 3 after the developers revealed the name via Twitter.

Rumors are suggesting that the plot will mix present day action and a future narrative that allows the team at Treyarch to use the future combat tools that have made Advanced Warfare so popular.

Activision tends to make its Call of Duty announcements at some point during May, with more details probably coming during the E3 2015 event.

Black Ops 3 will probably be launched in November and might be the first title in the series with no versions for the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3.
