Developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision are launching a new advertising campaign for Call of Duty: Ghosts, which delivers short clips that show how the lives of ordinary players are affected by the release of the game.

A number of spots are offered and they rely on humor and on uncomfortable situations to show how important the first-person shooter is to its fans.

The official Twitter account of the game states, "We just got your results back and thought you should know... It's #CallofDutyTime. #CODGhosts"

Infinity Ward is creating an entirely different universe for the new title, which is not linked to either Black Ops or Modern Warfare.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be launched worldwide on November 5 for the PC, the Wii U and current-gen consoles and versions are also made for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
