Valve has just rolled out a fresh update for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, implementing just a few key changes, such as an improvement for the Tec9 pistol, as well as new elements for the Inferno map.

CS:GO has been slowly but surely increasing in popularity, with hundreds of thousands of people from all around the world indulging in the stellar multiplayer-only shooter via Valve's own Steam service.

Now, a fresh update has been released by the studio, as revealed on Reddit, and brings just a few changes that, while small, improve the quality of the game.

First up, the Terrorist-only Tec9 pistol has been improved, as it now sports better accuracy and reduced recoil.

A few improvements for map makers are also present, so that levels can be better used in the Arms Race mode, while spectators should be able to see more info about the items found on players. Performance while spectating has also been improved, especially when the scoreboard is visible.

Mac users should notice some pretty big improvements, such as support for multi-threaded rendering and dynamic shadows.

Last but not least, the popular Inferno map has seen two key changes, as the missing texture in Bombsite B has been fixed, while the Boiler zone actually has a boiler, as you can see in the screenshot above.

The new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive update is already available for download via the Steam service.
