14 DAY TRIAL // The team at Cryptic is ready to officially announce that it is working on Shadowmantle, the second free expansion pack for its Neverwinter MMO, which is set to allow gamers to access the woods of the game world and battle Valindra Shadowmantle, a lich.
Players will have to first get through her massive army inside the Dread Ring, including a number of new enemies revealed via the accompanying screenshots.
They will be able to get through these challenges using a new class, the Shadow Hunter, and all existing characters also get new skills via a Paragon Path at level 30, opening up various gameplay options.
In Shadowmantle, gamers also get access to new Artifacts, a type of item that will level up as the player progresses.
Those who are interested in testing all the new features will be able to join the test shard.
