14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Cryptic and publisher Perfect World are announcing that all players of their Neverwinter MMO will soon share the exact same game universe, with all the servers of the game linked to a single shard.
The two companies have announced this as a goal ever since the title entered open beta phase.
They state in an official blog post that "In the very near future, we’ll be performing the long-anticipated server upgrade that will bring all players together in a single, unified shard. Information regarding the specific time and date will be coming soon."
Neverwinter is a free-to-play MMO that uses the Dungeons & Dragons universe to create a deep experience that mixes action-driven combat and some unique role-playing elements.
Since the game was first launched, the team has already delivered an expansion and more content is planned for the coming months.
