Phosphor Games has announced that players of its survival MMO Nether will be getting some new and exciting additions in the game's latest patch.

The first-person survival shooter is currently on Steam Early Access, and presents players with an unforgiving urban background, where the key to survival is using skill and cunning against the teleporting creatures knows as nethers, and successfully scavenging for food, weapons and supplies.

A motorbike has been added to the game in the latest update, allowing players to live out their post-apocalyptic biker fantasy, and offering a new way to get around the ruined cityscape.

Nether is also launching a grouping system that will allow its players to create tribes, a feature which will let them group chat and see each other's location on the map.

A new objective has also been implemented, the “Escort Mission,” that has players deliver a heavy box with a glowing beacon to shopkeepers in the Safezones. This is a team mission, as the player carrying the box will be unable to use weapons, and the box will continually attract nethers.

There have also been some cosmetic additions to the game, a bunch of new items hitting the marketplace, including motocross helmets, ski masks, Russian hats, spray masks and face bandanas.
