In 2013, Naughty Dog released action-adventure survival horror title The Last of Us and celebrated the two-year anniversary of third-person shooter Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

Spike’s VGX awards show bestowed them with the Studio of the Year award.

The studio announced that their The Last of Us team is hard at work developing their first single-player downloadable content, The Last of Us: Left Behind, and that the Uncharted team isn't slacking off either.

The developer has promised to present fresh news more frequently during the upcoming year, revealing information on all their projects, on both the PlayStation Blog and Naughty Dog’s official blog.

More importantly, they cryptically affirmed that 2014 will be a “very special time” in the studio’s history and that they will reveal the meaning of it early next year.

Naughty Dog ended their statement by thanking their supporters for their comments, critiques, feedback and love and by wishing the gaming community a “joyful, wonderful holiday season.”
