Publisher Namco Bandai has combined its operations in the United States and in Europe in order to create a structure that can be as successful as its Japanese division, which recently launched hits like One Piece: Pirate Warriors, Tales of Xillia and Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs.

Carlson Choi, who is a vice president at Namco Bandai, has said, “We wanted to unite our overseas organisation under one leadership. It is a continuation of our direction, where as a company the overseas business becomes even more critical.”

He added, “Over the last year we have been beginning our transformation of the overseas business, making sure that we are not only bringing East to West content but also sub-developing and bringing content from the West that can propagate to the East.”

Mark Tsuji, former president of Bandai America, will be the new chief executive officer for the new division.

Upcoming launches include Inversion, Dragon Ball Z for Kinect, Ni No Kuni and a new Star Trek video game.
