South Korean video game publisher NCsoft has announced that it is working on a new game in the long running Lineage franchise, called Eternal: Twilight Resistance, which will use a new and improved combat system.

The MMO will offer three classes to play around with, the standard warrior and mage and an exotic elemental archer and said that the mouse will be used by all three in combat to highlight the enemies that will be hit with the new attack.

Lineage Eternal: Twilight Resistance will have a number of large scale battles and for the first time siege warfare will be included and the developers will also introduce a new isometric perspective that will be used during these sections of the game.

It's not clear whether Lineage Eternal will be the new subscription based offering for the franchise, now that the second game is set to become free-to-play when the Goddess of Destruction expansion is released this year.

Also no launch has been mentioned.
