The NCAA Football series from EA Sports has sometimes been seen as a sideshow, a testing platform for the bigger Madden franchise, but this year, the Tiburon development team says that both coming titles will receive the same level of attention.

NCAA Football 14 is set to use an improved Infinity Engine 2, which will introduce ball carrier avoidance, a new feature that will allow computer controlled runners to use their hands to push linemen away and avoid tackles.

A new Force Impact feature will also introduce more realism to blocking moves and player contact.

The sprint button is also being eliminated, with players now naturally moving faster when they find some weakness in the line of the opposing team.

EA Sports will also introduce a better Artificial Intelligence for NCAA Football 14, according to Polygon.
