The development team at Visual Concepts and publisher 2K Sports are delivering a new Momentous Moments trailer for the incoming NBA 2K15, which uses slow motion and close ups in order to show the player base the graphics quality of the basketball simulation experience and the fidelity with which the faces and bodies of athletes are simulated.

The footage does not introduce too many new gameplay mechanics, but it’s nice to see some smooth dribbling and impressive dunks, even if the slowdown sometimes makes them look a little alien.

At the end of the trailer, gamers also get a teaser which might mean that the developers are getting ready to offer more details about the Crew mode which will be part of the basketball sim.

The experience will also include a range of upgrades for the MyCareer mode, and the team working on it says that the realism level has been boosted.

Kevin Durant is the cover star for the new title and the company has not yet offered any clear details on the ratings of the athletes included.

NBA 2K15 will be launched on October 7 and can be played on the PC, the Xbox One from Microsoft, the PlayStatiokn 4 from Sony and last-gen consoles.
