2K Sports, the simulation oriented division of Take Two, has announced that it plans to launch a number of NBA Christmas Day simulations for NBA 2K12, along with delivering a discount for the holidays, in order to celebrate the re-launch of the real world basketball season.

Amazon also offers a price cut for the game, selling it for 39.99 dollars (a little over 30 Euro) on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 until December 11.

The full-game simulations include: Knicks-Celtics, Mavericks-Heat, Lakers-Bulls, Thunder-Magic and Warriors-Clippers.

Jason Argent, who is the vice president of marketing at 2K Sports, stated, “It sure feels like Christmas has arrived early here at 2K Sports. We’re obviously thrilled that NBA basketball is set to return, so we are offering several ways for fans to join us in our excitement.”

As the season progresses NBA 2K12 will get updates linked to stats, rosters and schedules and players will be able to get a game which closely mirrors that action in the real life league.
