14 DAY TRIAL // Square Enix has provided some additional screenshots from the upcoming mystery game Murdered: Soul Suspect, to build up hype just before the game's launch.
The four new screenshots have been tweeted from the game's official account, accompanied by the caption "The hunt for the Bell killer takes a grave turn in Salem's Cemetery," referring to the game's antagonist.
The game challenges players with the task to solve their own murder, allowing them to step into the shoes of a recently departed detective that's hot on the trail of an elusive murderer.
The company has also recently announced that the limited edition of Murdered: Soul Suspect will include a copy of the journal used to track down the killer in the game, as well as an interactive digital strategy map that can be freely accessed via either computer or tablet, helping players locate various collectibles and side quests.
The action-adventure game relies heavily on narrative and seems to be a genuinely interesting title coming from Airtight Games, developers of the Ouya exclusive rhythm-based dungeon crawler Soul Fjord.
Murdered: Soul Suspect is currently scheduled for release on the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 platforms, on June 3 in North America and on June 6 in Europe and PAL regions.
