Mortal Kombat X's Kombat Pass will apparently include four playable characters and five skin packs, consisting of a total of 15 skins.

The information comes from Mortal Kombat X executive producer Shaun Himmerick, who previously hinted at the fact that we're going to see a lot more alternative costumes than we did in Mortal Kombat 9.

For the time being, the actual fighters we'll be getting are a mystery, and judging by the season passes for Injustice: Gods Among Us and Mortal Kombat, developer NetherRealm Studios' previous fighting games, we might be getting three fan-favorite characters and a guest from a completely different franchise.

In other news, Ed Boon, the series' creator, is also teasing fans of the game about an upcoming guest character that might be Sweet Tooth, the sadistic clown from the famous vehicular combat series Twisted Metal.

Mortal Kombat X is set to have a total of around 30 different playable characters, and Ed Boon mentioned that it would have the biggest number of new ones in the series yet.

Furthermore, if you want to see Kitana and Reptile in action for the first time, tune in to MKX Kombat Kast 3, scheduled to take place on Twitch later today.

Mortal Kombat X is coming to the Windows PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 platforms on April 14, 2005.
