14 DAY TRIAL // A brand-new gameplay video from the upcoming Mortal Kombat X fighting game has just been released by developer NetherRealm and publisher Warner Bros. as part of a recent live stream for the title, showcasing characters like Johnny Cage, Scorpion, or Sub-Zero.
Mortal Kombat X is set to debut soon enough and developer NetherRealm has slowly but surely ramped up the marketing effort for the new title, in order to showcase its many fighters, its different mechanics, and how smoothly everything blends together.
After hearing earlier this week that the whole Cage family is going to be present in Mortal Kombat X, in the form of classic characters Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, as well as their all-new daughter, Cassie Cage, a longer look at the story mode has just been presented.
As you can see in the gameplay video below, the story sequences focusing on Johnny Cage get the main spotlight, and besides actual plot sections, there are also quite a few battles pitting Johnny against other classic characters like Scorpion or Sub-Zero, so expect some really gory and violent battles.
The new Mortal Kombat X launches on April 14 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and this summer on PS3 and Xbox 360, so you can expect to see and hear even more in the near future.
