Mortal Kombat X developer NertherRealm has just released a fresh gameplay video that includes a whopping 32 minutes of footage from the new fighting game, as well as a much smaller trailer that depicts one of the ultra-violent fatalities for fan-favorite character Scorpion.

Mortal Kombat X is eagerly awaited by millions of franchise fans, as in recent years developer NetherRealm has proven that it can create great fighting games and respect the core values of the long running series.

After the Mortal Kombat reboot and the stellar Injustice: Gods Among Us titles, the studio is busy working on Mortal Kombat X, the next iteration in the old fighting game series, which is set to introduce quite a lot of new mechanics and even more varied combat systems.

In order to portray some of the old fan-favorite characters, as well as some of the impressive mechanics built into the upcoming game, a special gameplay video has just appeared, complete with commentary from some of its developers.

In it, you can admire brawls between Raiden, Sub Zero, Scorpion, Cassie Cage, D'Vorah, and Kotal Kahn.

A small trailer depicting one of the special Fatality moves for Scorpion has also been released, so check it out below.

Mortal Kombat X is set to launch on April 14, 2015, for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms.
