Gamers can add or take out cube layers using money

Peter Molyneux announces that it is adding a new set of options to its Curiosity title, allowing players to spend real world money in order to add layers of cubes to the game and make it harder to reach its center.

Various amounts of new cubes will come with bigger price tags and the same option can also be used to destroy the same number of layers.

Molyneux tells Eurogamer that, "Curiosity may very well rapidly degrade to reveal its innermost secret or maybe the effects of automatically removing cubelets will be neutralised by players keen to keep Curiosity going."

It seems that 22 Cans has plans to take the option out when just two layers remain before the middle of the Curiosity cube is reached.

So far most gamers have used the new paid option to dig deeper in the game.
