Owners of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on the PlayStation 3 will finally be able to get their hands on some new DLC later this month, in the form of the Overwatch map, while the next batch of DLC may arrive on or around April 12.

Content drops for Modern Warfare 3 have appeared since January but, thanks to the exclusivity deal with Microsoft, PlayStation 3 owners of the game need to endure some lengthy periods until they get any new maps.

Now, after more fresh content appeared earlier this week on the Xbox 360, Activision’s Dan Aimrich confirmed that the Overwatch map will arrive on the PlayStation 3 on March 29.

What’s more, he also revealed that the next content drops, in the form of the Black Box multiplayer map, as well as the Black Ice and Negotiation Spec Ops missions may arrive on April 12.

These dates aren’t official just yet, as Sony decides when exactly this content will be posted onto the PlayStation Network.

Until an official announcement appears, PS3 owners of Modern Warfare 3 will have to settle with the standard maps, as well as the Piazza and Liberation bonus ones.
