Video game publisher Activision Blizzard has announced that all the revenue generated from sale of avatar items on the Xbox Live service linked to Modern Warfare 3 before December 16 will be donated to the Call of Duty Endowment.

Players who like the first person shooter game from Infinity Ward can contribute to charity by picking one of the more than 30 different objects that are available, with two new Avatars, one for American Special Forces and one representing a Juggernatut, added specifically for this occasion.

The Call of Duty Endowment is a charity created by the video game publisher that works with veterans from the United States Armed forces and helps them find employment after they return from service.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 release has been the biggest entertainment event of the year generating more than 1 billion dollars (745,990 million Euro) during the first week on sale.
