The game's online mode will require a special online pass to be purchased

Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Full Boost will have Gundams added as downloadable content and will require an online pass for online play.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Full Boost is the newest 3D arcade fighting game in the Gundam Vs. series, developed and published by Namco Bandai Games.

Namco Bandai have confirmed that the game will require an online pass in order for players to be able to use it online. Therefore, players using a pre-owned copy of the game will have to fork out some money in order to purchase one.

The developers have also announced that they plan to release a lot of downloadable content for Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost, from pilot costumes to player avatar pictures and different gauge designs.

Namco Bandai are also planning to introduce additional Mobile Suits, each mechs to be sold separately, as Siliconera reports.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Full Boost is expected to come out for the PlayStation 3, on January 30, 2014.
