Mission: Impossible – The Game, the Facebook based title from Funtactix, has received a new trailer which shows gamers exactly what they can get from the social powered experience.

The Facebook game allows players to join up with friends and then take on a number of challenges set in various locations all around the world, some of which have already been visited by the team in the movie version of Missions: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.

The plot seen in Mission: Impossible – The Game precedes the events seen in the movie and players will be tasked with the familiar missions of top class spies, including getting information, stalking enemy operatives and infiltrating high profile targets.

The trailer is nothing special on its own but it shows the commitment that the development team has to Mission: Impossible.

Social games are one of the fastest growing segments of the video game world and more and more intellectual properties are used as a basis for them.
